The Legion of Good Will (LGW)
Established in the USA in 1986, the Legion of Good Will (LGW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational and social assistance programs for economically disadvantaged communities. Originally founded in Brazil in 1950, the LGW has expanded its ideals worldwide, working tirelessly to combat poverty and its consequences.
The organization's comprehensive approach includes supplementary education, nutrition, health services, and emergency relief campaigns. With a general consultative status with the UN/Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and affiliation with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (DGC), the LGW operates on an international scale, impacting lives in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay, and Portugal.
